Interests:
- Music performance. I’m a musical being. Ever since my mother sent me off to piano lessons when I was six (something that really impacted my life), I’ve been fascinated by music. I read music, but mainly play by ear. I’ve been playing the piano for 12 years, the drums on and off for 6 years, the guitar for 5 years, and the bass for 3 years. I’m mainly passionate about the piano, though, as it’s the only instrument that I can “think in”, per se.
- Web development. I’ve been farting around with web design and development for the past three years, and have used the knowledge that I’ve acquired to start a web development business.
- Cinematography. I’ve been a novice filmmaker for a while, and enjoy all aspects of movie creation, from writing to directing to editing.
- Gaming. I enjoy PC and console games, such as Halo, Halo 2, America’s Army, Mercenaries, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, Half Life, Half Life 2, RollerCoaster Tycoon, and Hitman 2.
- Listening to music. I listen to a lot of Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Audioslave, Evanescence, Creed, Lacuna Coil, Alter Bridge, Buckethead, Shinedown, The Mayfield Four, Paul Gilbert, Virgos Merlot, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I like genres such as post-grunge, alt metal, progressive metal, instrumental guitar rock, southern rock, and hard rock.
